Cold forming & stamping

Forming at room temperature: low tolerance drift, high repeatability and a fine surface finish.

In cold forging the metal is pressed into a die at room temperature. Because the grain flow is kept intact, strength goes up, and far less material is lost than in machining.

It suits work that needs high dimensional accuracy at series volumes. We use it for small, critical parts such as lock pins in our own products too.

  • Low tolerance drift
  • High repeatability
  • Less material waste
  • Fine surface finish
